What Have We Done So Far
Website designed and created, online petition, posters written, press releases, logo design, photographs taken, drone footage made, Facebook group and protest T shirt all set up within days of finding out about the project by chance

A lawyer was secured to help with the process and official objections were filed correctly with the Junta de Andalucía within the short deadline
Information was shared and the local community united through a whatsapp group raising awareness throughout the area – Within days almost 300 people signed up gathering momentum for the protest.
The team found and engaged with an environmental and legal expert for advice and support for the protest submission documents
The Association was created and legally registered (NIF: G75613174), ensuring legitimacy and formal organisation demonstrating willingness and preparation to explore related procedural or criminal irregularities – find out about membership
The team engaged with opposition parties to raise awareness and gather support when it was clear the mayor would not support the protest

Within 3 weeks we collected 1366 (907 online and 459 on paper) signatures. From Canillas de Aceituno itself : 641 (368 online and 273 on paper). Neighbours went door to door in the local villages and hamlets

A formal legal request for information was submitted to the town council for all related documentation
