Indeed Mapfre organised a conference earlier this year about “Saving lives on rural roads” which is a significant topic in Spain’s road safety strategy.
The potential risk of all the additional large waste trucks and lorries on our small winding rural roads will have a significant impact on the safety of locals, the many cyclists and tourists, and the truck drivers themselves.
